We are a group of locals based in lutruwita / Tasmania that share a common goal. To take a determined stance against the destructive practices of Sustainable Timber Tasmania. We aim to hold Sustainable Timber Tasmania and the Tasmanian Forestry Industry accountable for their actions. We do this by conducting citizen science environmental surveys prior to logging as well as post logging surveys for breaches to the Forest Practices Code. We compile information and data to ensure adequate knowledge of habitat for threatened species has been observed and look for features that require special protection. We frequently report breaches, working with the systems in place to keep watch on Sustainable Timber Tasmania.  We invite you to participate in this auditing process. It sounds very serious, but really it is an enjoyable, meaningful way to engage with the vulnerable, biodiverse forests that make this island so unique.
